I already wrote about March Madness, so I’m going to hold off writing about that more until it gets dwindled down a little further and maybe do a typical highlight of the Cinderella story later. However, after talking to Horseshoe Bend boys basketball coach Chad Kison and our shared love for the NFL — figured I’d do another football column.
The NFL Draft is less than a month away, and also one of my treasured times of the year. I love the draft, even though I despise that horrendous Kevin Costner movie dramatizing it. It’s just unrealistic, and quite frankly, we need a spin-off to see if Bo Callahan was even a bust or not. Maybe even just see if the hypothetical Cleveland Browns even walked away with a hypothetical Super Bowl ring, or if Costner’s character Sonny Weaver Jr. had a Nico Harrison-level tenure with the organization.
