Smith bats .436 as the lead off hitter, scoring a whopping 71 runs on the season. Smith was selected to represent Wetumpka in the AHSAA's annual North-South All Star game.
Once again, Wetumpka’s softball team is sending two players to the North-South All-Star game this July. This season, the AHSAA tapped juniors Lalah Culpepper and Lexie Smith for the honors as they will represent Wetumpka on the South All Star team.

“They’re definitely excited,” Wetumpka softball coach Daryl Otwell said. “That’s a huge honor, not only for them, but for their families. And of course for our program and our community, to play in such a competitive game over the summer. It’s a tradition that we really enjoy, to have 18 of the best South softball players on one team, and having two of those is definitely a huge accomplishment.”
