For the first time since 2019, Holtville’s softball team is going back to the state tournament in Oxford.

Last year, the Bulldogs’ season ended against Beauregard in a heartbreaking loss by just one run. This season, Holtville righted that wrong and defeated the Hornets as it clinched a spot as the first regional qualifier from the Class 5A Central Regional tournament.
