After going 1-5 through the first week of the softball season, the Elmore County softball team found the energy and attitude to come back in their second home game against a strong Montgomery Catholic team and get the win, 13-10.

The win came with stellar pitching from Bailey Kennedy and a great all-around performance at the plate for the Panthers. Kennedy pitched a total of four innings, getting the start and coming back in for the sixth and seventh innings to close out the Knights. The junior pitcher allowed just three hits, surrendering two earned runs, zero walks and striking out three batters.
