There’s a certain type of player that can change a team and its energy as soon as he steps onto the pitch. The ability to exert so much energy and enthusiasm that it spreads throughout the team like a virus. For Elmore County’s boys soccer team, that player was Tate McNeely.
“He’s a bigtime player,” ECHS coach Jeff Bracknell said. “We’re definitely going to miss him next year. Not just with his ability to score, but with his leadership abilities. I felt like our team pretty much fed off of his energy during games, and if he was having a good game, everybody was having a good game.”

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
