Youth sports are often overlooked in wider discussions of athletics, but the truth is without a healthy youth sports landscape high school, college and professional athletics wouldn’t exist. Regardless of whether a child is interested in pursuing sports as an extracurricular in the long term, youth sports provide community while teaching valuable lessons about teamwork and building character. 

Redland, a rapidly growing community nestled between Wetumpka and Montgomery, has been working towards creating opportunities for its residents without requiring them to travel to Montgomery, Wetumpka or Tallassee. Come this fall, Redland will finally have its own youth football and cheerleading team.
