With the 2025-26 school year shrinking in the rearview mirror, high school football programs across the state are hitting the ground running with preparations for the upcoming season. Stanhope Elmore’s football team visited the Helena Huskies on Thursday for a spring scrimmage, allowing each team live repetitions in a controlled environment.

“It was scripted like an NFL (organized team activity),” SEHS coach Hunter Adams said. “We made sure all situations were covered and repped substantially, and we were able to play a lot of players for depth purposes. Coach Richie Busby runs an awesome program and always has a team that will challenge you physically and schematically.”
