Sometimes the first-game jitters get the best of you, and that might be the best way to describe the Reeltown boys basketball team’s season opener against Beulah on Thursday.

It took until the final minutes of the first quarter for the Rebels to secure their first basket of the day, and by that time Tigers held a double-digit lead — one they held on to en route to a 70-42 loss for the Rebels.
