It has been a slow progression, but there is one thing you cannot deny when it comes to the Dadeville girls' basketball team — it is getting better.

Coming out of the holiday break, the Tigers faced off against fellow Tallapoosa County teams in Reeltown and Horseshoe Bend. And although they fell in both games, 41-29 against the Rebels and 53-40 against the Generals, there were plenty of bright spots.

Samuel Higgs / TPI Dadeville’s A'mari Russell attempts to get past the defense of Reeltown Emileigh Williams. Through two games, Russell averaged 16.5 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers.
