Wetumpka’s softball team has been on the hunt for a state title all season. On Monday, the Indians finally secured a bid to the state tournament in Oxford.Â
Wetumpka participated in the AHSAA Class 6A South Regional tournament at Gulf Shores. The Indians headed into the gauntlet with 11 straight wins in their rearview mirror, looking to extend the streak.Â

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

New Site, Wadley, Goldville, Abanda, Penton, Sparkling Springs,
Malone, Daviston, and Motley.
