Tallassee City Council passes $12 million budget

Tallassee officials were conservative with a budget for fiscal year 2025.

The Tallassee City Council passed the budget at its Tuesday meeting with an anticipated $12,273,645 in revenues for the next year with $10,837,124 in expenses. Those expenditures include a 3.5% cost of living raise for all full-time employees of the city. The raise will cost the city approximately $137,000 per year.
