Cliff Williams / TPI The Tallassee High School Jazz Band played a selection of holiday music at Restoration 49 Friday night.

It might not be a white Christmas in Tallassee but the town definitely has the Christmas spirit. Over the weekend it all centered on Restoration 49 as it hosted the Tallassee High School performing arts program Friday night. The school’s jazz band, chamber choir and theater program brought special Christmas performances to the coffee shop filled with patrons. The shop was once again filled Saturday evening as it hosted Songs of the Season featuring area choirs and musicians performing classic Christmas carols and songs.
