100s support Samson Strong 5K run in Tallassee

It was a race. But the third annual Samson Strong 5K and 1-mile run were to encourage, support and celebrate first and foremost.

More than 150 took to the streets of Tallassee to race Saturday morning, and even more were there to support the Samson Strong foundation cause of supporting bereaved parents. It was a foundation started not long after Dylan and Haley Daniel’s son, Samson David Daniel, was stillborn at 32 weeks. The young couple decided to turn their tragedy into a mission of supporting others. Saturday, bereaved parents and the community supported the foundation.
