Domestic call leads to drug arrest in Tallassee

Tallassee police officers thought they were going to a domestic incident on Feb. 8 but it ended in a drug arrest and law enforcement seizing weapons and illegal drugs.

Tallassee police investigator Jeremy Zellers testified last week in a preliminary hearing before Elmore County District Court Judge Glen Goggans about the details of the case. Zellers said a woman called Tallassee dispatch after Kerry Anderson, 41, of Tallassee, threatened her with a gun. The caller told dispatch where Anderson was parked.
