A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Tallassee woman

Deadly wreck

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Corporal Jess Thornton, Pamela Hitson, age 50, of Tallassee, was killed this morning when the 2012 Nissan Maxima she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

Hitson was pronounced dead at the scene.
