The Friendship Fire Department is currently making plans to hold its first “Friendship Fire Day” Oct. 11 beginning at 2 p.m.

While the date is a few weeks away David Bass and Joel Hart, both of the Friendship Fire Department, have started to formulate a plan for the event that will include a barbecue cook-off, a car show and arts and crafts vendors.
