Attorney General Luther Strange, last week, announced the arrest and indictment of two men involved in a multi-state credit-card fraud scheme. According to a press release issued by the Attorney General’s office: “Jonathan William Sharpton, age 31 of Colbert County, and Barry Gene Holder, age 53 of Lauderdale County, were indicted on charges of first-degree theft of property, fraudulent use of a credit card, identity theft and conspiracy to commit identity theft.”

Sharpton is being housed at the Limestone Correctional Facility and Holder was housed at the Elmore County Jail, but, according to Joy Patterson of the Attorney General’s office, is out on bond. He was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
