(Carmen Rodgers) Caleb Thornton ran in last year’s Monster Mash Dash 5k and took 5th place in individuals under the age of 18. This year’s event is scheduled for October 29 on King Street in Tallassee.

Neptune Technology Group will hold the second annual 5K Monster Mash Dash to support the Elmore County Food Pantry. This year’s 5K will be held Oct. 29 beginning at 8 a.m. Registration is $25 per runner. Runners under 12 years of age may join the race with the donation of two canned goods. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and close at 7:45 a.m.
