Pharmacists from across the state of Alabama will be gathering at the Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge and Convention Center, on February 20-22, for the Alabama Pharmacy Association (APA) Mid-Winter Conference. Event activities will include continuing education (CE) seminars for pharmacists and technicians, induction of the 2015-2016 officers into the APA Academy of Pharmacy Practice and other social events.

“This year’s conference offers a wide variety of continuing education topics including pharmacy law, Medicaid, medication errors, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, complementary and alternative medicine for pain management in older adults, non-sterile compounding for consultant pharmacists and new drug updates. We have a wonderful program planned and invite all pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy students to join us,” states APA Executive Director Louise Jones.
