Tallassee police were called to the scene of two burglaries on Notasulga Road at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, and their ongoing investigation indicates that not only were the two burglaries related, the total value of the items stolen is over a quarter of a million dollars.
“The incident began at around 3 a.m.,” said Tallassee police chief Jimmy Rodgers, “and the subjects left the second business just before 4:30 a.m.”
