UAB will pay teens for driving study

Motor vehicle collisions are the leading cause of death among teenagers with inattention the biggest factor, accounting for a third of fatalities in drivers ages 16 to 19, and a UAB study is delving deeper into the findings.

The study will test the influence of age and driving experience on driving attention development under various conditions.
