Submitted / TPI Reigning Class 4A state champion wrestler Thomas Patterson is undefeated to start the season and on track for a repeat appearance at the state finals.

A wrestling match may last only a few seconds or a few minutes, but as a sport, it requires as much grit, time, effort, energy and passion as an athlete can muster. Tallassee wrestler Thomas Patterson has that in spades. 

After claiming an individual and a team state title last season in the 106-pound weight class, Patterson is now at 113 and maintaining his streak of dominance. Through the first few tournaments of the season, he has remained undefeated at 9-0. And for that, he is the Elmore County Player of the Week.
