Wetumpka is hosting the annual Elmore County Tournament this season. The five schools from around the county will compete in the three-day tournaments for both the boys and girls teams.

The weekend gets started Thursday night with a big rematch between Stanhope Elmore and Tallassee’s boys basketball teams. The two teams faced each other earlier this month, with the Tigers using a fourth quarter comeback to defeat the Mustangs.
