In a rivalry game, especially one in which the two schools are separated by just a handful of miles, there’s a lot of pomp and circumstance.

Records go out the window, and fans come out in droves to support not just their schools but their communities. All that ended in slightly anticlimactic fashion Friday night in the Battle of Highway 50.
