Ana Sofia Meyer / TPI Tallassee running back Tiny Green (0) hits a move around the first line of Holtville's defense.
Like an old familiar song, Holtville’s final game of the 2025 season against rival Tallassee started on a high note and ended on a low note. The Tallassee Tigers beat the hometown Bulldogs, 24-8, in a chippy, emotional rivalry showdown on Thursday night.
The celebration of all the seniors of the football team, the band, cheerleaders, dancers and athletic trainers had the game starting a few minutes later than planned. It resulted in a delay of game penalty before the coin toss at midfield.
