After a 12-game winning streak, the Tallassee Tigers fell for the first and last time this season to Montgomery Catholic, 13-7, in the quarterfinals of the AHSAA Class 1-5A flag football playoffs. 

“That’s a really good team right there,” Tallassee coach Pat Love said. “We made a few more mistakes than they did. They came out in that first series and drove the ball down on us, and after that, we kind of figured them out, we kind of stopped them.”
