When Brownie Caldwell was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, she described feeling an overwhelming sense of peace. 

Three weeks prior to her diagnosis, Caldwell remembers feeling something in her left breast that she knew was not supposed to be there. She made an appointment with her doctor and both decided to remove the mass.
