The Tallapoosa County Commissioners approved a resolution Monday to begin implementation of the Tallapoosa County Community Corrections Program.

The move gets the ball rolling to establish a program that will not only help ease issues with crowding in state prisons, but will give the county more control and some much-needed funds as well. The resolution passed with a unanimous 5-0 vote.
