Kiwanians hear tale of Loaves and Fishes

For 14 years Jackson’s Gap resident Cecila Taunton has volunteered her time at the Loaves and Fishes food pantry ministry on Hatcher Street in Dadeville serving the last 12 as executive director. Last Thursday she spoke to the Dadeville Kiwanis Club about how the ministry operates to serve the people.

“Loaves and Fishes is a local food pantry ministry that is supported by 14 area churches, some civic clubs, some individuals and some grants,” Taunton said. “Those 14 churches have been so faithful and diligent to support it.”
