The Reeltown High School marching band is honoring a late student with a rare musical opportunity. 

“The Gift of Giving,” a musical piece composed by international composer and conductor Brian Balmadges, is releasing this week in honor of the late Melody Jackson, a student at Reeltown and alto saxophonist in the band that was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Jackson’s Make-A-Wish was for the Reeltown band to receive new uniforms.
