Project Lifesaver is continuing to bring loved ones home and give caregivers peace of mind.

Project Lifesaver is a nationwide search and rescue program designed for those with cognitive conditions who are prone to wandering off. The individuals in the program wear a bracelet that has a unique frequency. If a loved one wanders, then the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department utilizes the transmitter in the bracelet that emits a signal law enforcement can use to track the individual with a receiver.
