Southern Preparatory Academy did not host an average 5K on Saturday.

As Halloween approaches, the academy brought together students, friends and family for a zombie-themed run instead. Students and faculty were dressed in zombie attire and makeup as they prepared to scare and chase runners throughout the terrain. The route also had Halloween decorations, such as a cemetery, to make the 5K even more frightening for participants.
