The current flu and cold season has been at its worst in 30 years according to USA Today. The most recent U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention weekly U.S. influenza report stated seasonal flu activity remains elevated nationally, but the trends vary among age groups and regions. Trends were also reported to be lower than previous weeks.
