Submitted / TPI Area youth gather for a flag football game hosted by the Second Missionary Baptist Church Saturday. The event was aimed at creating opportunities for youth and young adults to get to know each other following some of the shootings in Wetumpka.

Following months of tension finishing off with two shootings that left one person charged with attempted murder, two Wetumpka teenagers said “enough is enough.”

Shane Black and Tyshaun Sears answered the call of Second Missionary Baptist of Wetumpka Pastor Craig Milner Sr. to host a big youth event — a place to begin conversations about unity and friendship.
