James Hudson takes a seat in a courtroom Tuesday to be sentenced for child rape, incest, sodomy and child porngraphy charges.

Had the death penalty been an option for Judge Amanda Baxley, a defendant would be facing execution after the judge’s sentencing. 

James Hudson, 38, of Deatsville will never see the sky as a free man again. Every meal he eats until he dies will come from a prison kitchen. Every bit of sleep he gets, will be in the confines of an Alabama state prison.
