Edgewood faces Hooper in second week of region play

The Edgewood Wildcats are traveling to Hooper Academy on Friday to battle the Colts in an AISA AA Region 1 showdown. 

A win at Hooper could be a huge boon for Edgewood (2-1, 1-0) this season, as they come off their first win of the season at Lakeside last week. They defeated Lakeside in a dominant 42-0 performance with wide receiver Cam Wright leading the charge in scoring. They have a new quarterback under center this season with junior Alex Hamby, replacing senior tight end Brock Whitt who moved to a more natural position at tight end on offense and linebacker on defense.
