A Montgomery man will spend Christmas in prison after he was sentenced to 15 years behind bars for the death of an Eclectic woman.

Sean Macon, 56, of Montgomery, was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to criminally negligent homicide in November for the June 2024 death of Angel Ward, 22, of Eclectic. Macon was inebriated when he drove his car across a median on U.S. Highway 231 in Wetumpka striking Ward’s vehicle.
