Scott Tubbs ended his coaching career at Holtville with a 128-63 record. He brought a state title to Slapout in 2023, ending the program’s 40-year drought.

Holtville baseball coach Scott Tubbs is stepping down from his position after five years coaching Bulldogs baseball. 

Tubbs has coached baseball for 26 years. In his tenure, he’s won 15 area titles and seven state championships. He brought three of those area championships to Holtville, plus one state championship in 2023. That year, Tubbs was named the ALABCA Class 5A Coach of the Year as well as Elmore County baseball coach of the year.
