Holtville baseball coach Scott Tubbs is still picking up honors for last year’s championship run.

Tubbs, who led Holtville to the AHSAA Class 5A state championship for the first time in 40 years, was named the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association Head Coach of the Year for Class 5A on Friday night.
