Four juveniles allegedly responsible for rock throwing

The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office was close to solving the case of more than 15 vehicles being struck by thrown rocks. Then parents saw a video shared by CrimeStoppers. Now four 17-year-olds from the Holtville community have juvenile petitions filed against them.

“We had two sets of parents that called us and said, ‘Hey, we need to come talk to y'all. We think our sons are involved in that,’” Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin said. “We had two very responsible sets of parents come up here (Wednesday). They let their boys talk. We found out pretty much what we already knew. We found out who the other two boys are.”
