Every municipality in Elmore County continues to see at least some population growth, according to estimates released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau. The calculations cover a period from April 2010 through July 1, 2013.
Wetumpka has added 729 residents, growing from 6,662 to 7,391 – an 11.2 percent increase. Millbrook’s population grew from 14,637 to 15,112 – an additional 475 people or 3.2 percent.
