County’s residents in need seek help after CAACA closure; new location announced

The new location of the Community Action Agency of Central Alabama will be off U.S. Highway 231 at 66 Village Loop, located in what used to be a Pharmix pharmacy beside Must Stop Cafe. A representative of the non-profit low-income assistance organization said a 24-hour appointment line has been operating since Dec. 8 and clients will be seen in the new location starting Jan. 8.
