Dr. Nicole Jones Wadsworth has spent much of her working life in real estate and commercial development.
Now she is wetting her feet in the political arena campaigning for lieutenant governor. Wadsworth stopped by the Elmore County Republican Party meeting to introduce herself. Wadsworth is wanting to put her four degrees, two certifications and experience in real estate, business contracts and economic development to use in the public sector. Through her businesses, she has been to every county in the state multiple times over the past 25 years.

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 3 above possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama.
* WHEN...From late Sunday night through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of
subfreezing temperatures could cause pipes to burst.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
To prevent freezing and possible bursting of pipes they should be
wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
