The football season is finally here, and Elmore County has had this game circled on its schedule since the end of last year.

Elmore County kicks off the season at 7 p.m. Friday against Chilton County, a team the Panthers defeated via shutout a year ago. The Panthers are looking to start the season on a hot streak again.
