Many moons ago David Forbus was a camper at Camp Chandler. He spent many summers in the camp’s cabins, dining hall and on the waterfront of Lake Jordan.

Art Mason was there too, only he was a bit older than Forbus and helped keep the camp operating. Today Mason serves as operation director at Camp Chandler and Forbus is on the camp’s board. Forbus’ daughter has attended Camp Chandler and his wife works for the Montgomery YMCA.
