The Edgewood Academy Wildcats (0-2) are headed into Week 3 and they are yet to come away with a win. With a new coach, Joe Brewton, this team is still working on building a solid team identity. 

This week will be the first meeting against Lakeside since 2023 when Edgewood defeated the Chiefs, 7-6. This will be both teams’ region opener, a key game as far as momentum headed into the thick of the football season.Â
