On the coldest night of the season so far, Stanhope Elmore’s Dee Barnes continued his torrid pace out of the backfield as the Mustangs handled Calera, 49-33, in non-region football action Friday.
Barnes became the first Mustang in school history to gain more than 2,000 yards in the regular season. He also set the school record for regular season touchdowns with his 29th.
