The Edgewood Academy Wildcats look to claim their fourth-straight win at Banks Academy this week. With a win, Edgewood will officially overtake their four wins from last season under first-year coach Joe Brewton.

It is the second half of the AISA football season and the Edgewood Wildcats have officially won the same amount of games as their 2024 season total. Their improvements this season under first-year coach Joe Brewton have been tremendous, as they now sit at the top of AISA AA Region 1 standings. At the end of last season, they were fifth out of six teams. 

Last week the Wildcats staged a comeback in the second half of the game to beat non-region opponent Crenshaw Christian Academy.Â
