Edgewood’s Brock Whitt leads the Wildcats into another week of region play against Crenshaw Christian Academy.

The Edgewood Academy Wildcats are back after a week off, taking on another AISA AA Region 1 opponent. The Wildcats will welcome the Crenshaw Christian Academy Cougars into their home turf this Friday night. 

The week before last, things seemed to click for Edgewood. They traveled down to Hope Hull to take on Hooper Academy and won big, blowing the Colts out 60-17. Almost the whole offense was involved in the win, especially senior running back Cam Wright who had four touchdowns for nearly 150 yards. The charge was led by quarterback Alex Hamby, who is new to the position this season. Hamby was able to get the ball to a handful of receivers including Aundrez Lee, Jacorian Bruce and Landon Smith.Â
