Stanhope Elmore comes together on the court despite loss

The Stanhope Elmore Mustangs faced their second region opponent last week in Montgomery Academy, losing in three straight sets, 25-14, 25-16, 25-12. They are now 1-1 in AHSAA Class 6A Area 4 competition, behind Montgomery Academy who is 3-0 so far. 

After the game, coach Flavia Freeney said the outcome was about what she expected going up against Montgomery Academy. The Mustangs are now 4-7 overall in the volleyball season, heading into the bulk of area competition in the next few weeks.
